If you pay much attention to tech news and reviews, you probably know the initials MKBHD. And if you don't -- well, you probably should.

MKBHD is the screen name of Marques Brownlee, a Web video producer who's attracted a staggering 2.6 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. Brownlee's best known for his easy-to-follow video reviews of Android devices and other mobile technology, but he also does a bunch of other stuff -- everything from videos explaining how YouTube processing works to videos showing his adventures flying drones with Deadmau5 (yes, really).

Oh yeah -- and did I mention that he's only 21 years old? Brownlee graduated from college this past spring. Up til then, he was doing all of his video work alongside a full schedule of classes.

So with all the time he spends testing and talking about mobile devices, how does MKBHD actually use Android himself? Time to find out.

In his own words, this is how Marques Brownlee uses Android.

The basics

Your current primary phone: Nexus 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

What case is on your phone (if any): Haven't used a case in years! I do have a carbon-fiber textured skin on the back to help with grip, though.

Your current tablet (if any): An iPad Air 2... *ducks*

Your current smartwatch (if any): I'm on and off with the Moto 360. I still think it's the best looking, and its charging dock is so convenient.

The home screen

A quick walk-through of your phone's home screen setup: I switch phones pretty often but always translate a rough copy of this setup between phones. Most used apps on the bottom near the edges, where my thumb can reach on this huge Nexus.

What launcher you're using: Google Experience Launcher.

What wallpaper you're using: I change wallpapers every few weeks to keep it fresh. Here is the one I'm using now.

Anything else of note (interesting customizations, special icons, custom ROM, etc): No fancy icons, but I love the Today Calendar Widget for my agenda. I live and die by Google Calendar.

The apps

Beyond the obvious stock Google programs, a few apps you can't live without right now (and a quick word about why): I use Fenix for Twitter and GTasks every day.
